جزاك الله خيرًا Saying Jazak Allah khair instead of Thank you.

What dua do you say to someone who does you a favour?

What do you say to your Muslim Friend if she/he does you a favour? Usama b. Zaid reported Allah’s Messenger as saying, “If one is done a kindness and expresses to his benefactor a desire that God may give him a good reward, he has fully expressed his commendation. ”This is a sahih hadith in Tirmidhi sharif. So When some one does good to us why not say جزاك الله خيرًا instead of Thank you? This prayer may be one of the reasons for his happiness in this world and the Hereafter and you may get a reward of reviving a Sunnah and making dua for your brother/sister.
