Dua to enter Jannah through any of 8 gates of Jannah.

A very beautiful dua extracted from a hadith that can help us enter jannah from all 8 gates:

A beautiful moment connected to this hadith which I always want to remember is that our sheikh made us read this hadith and asked us to read behind him and then he said now that you have read this hadith believe that Allah will make you enter Jannah through any of the eight gate you wish.

Subhan Allah ! that was a moment that gave me goosebump! May Allah enter all of us to Jannah.

The full hadith where the dua is found is :

Translation:

Ubâdah bin As- Samit said: “The Messenger of Allah (Sallalahu alaihe wa sallam) said: ‘Whoever says: I bear witness that none has the right to be worshipped but Allah alone [with no partner] and that Muhammad (Sallahu alaihe wa sallam) is His slave and Messenger, and that ‘Eisa (Alaihe As salam) is the slave of Allah, the son of His maidservant, a Word which He bestowed upon Maryam (alaihe Salam) and a Spirit from (created by) Him, and that Paradise is true and that Hell is true,” Allah will admit him through whichever of the eight gates of Paradise he wants.”

Hadith reference: Sahih Muslim, Hadith 140 (hard copy)

We should refrain from kabira sins and try to adopt a life of piety and taqwa and have good hopes with Allah.

Allah is Raheem, Kareem. We should try to do good and keep out tongue moist with astaghfar and other zikr. We should stay away from shirk as shirk is not forgiven. One who read kalima, believes in kalima and fulfills the right of kalima, then he will be  forgiven. Amal are like teeth of key. You can’t open door without proper key. Kalima is the key to jannah but amal is also important. so we should always try to acquire ilm and do amal in it.

Another beautiful thing to know is about the gates ofJannah.

The 8 GATES OF JANNAH:

  1. Baab As-Salaat: This gate is for those muslims who are punctual and focused on prayer.
  2. Baab Al-Jihad: This gate is for those who took part in Jihad (died in defense of Islam).
  3. Baab As-Sadaqah: This gate is for those who frequently gave to charity.
  4. Baab Ar-Rayyaan: This gate is for those who fast (siyam).
  5. Baab Al-Hajj: This gate is for those Muslims who participated in the Hajj (annual pilgrimage to Mecca)
  6. Baab Al-Kaazimeen Al-Ghaiz Wal Aafina Anin Naas: This gate is for those who controlled or withheld anger and practiced forgiving others.
  7. Baab Al-Iman: This gate is for those those who had sincere faith.
  8. Baab Al-Dhikr: This gate is for those who showed zeal in remembering Allah.

Allah says,

But those who feared their Lord will be driven to Paradise in groups until, when they reach it while its gates have been opened and its keepers say, “Peace be upon you; you have become pure; so enter it to abide eternally therein,” [they will enter].(Quran 39:73)

May Allah forgive our sins and enter us into jannah bila hisaab. Ameen.
