Arabic: أَشْهَدُ أَنْ لَا إِلَٰهَ إِلَّا اللَّهُ وَحْدَهُ لَا شَرِيكَ لَهُ وَأَشْهَدُ أَنَّ مُحَمَّدًا عَبْدُهُ وَرَسُولُهُ
Transliteration: Ashhadu alla ilaha illallahu wahdahu la shareeka lahu wa-ashhadu anna Muhammadan AAabduhu warasooluhu.
Translation: “I bear witness that there is no deity worthy of worship except Allah alone, with no partner, and I bear witness that Muhammad is His servant and messenger.”
Reciting this dua after wudu is a recommended practice, and it is a way of affirming one’s faith in the oneness of Allah and the prophethood of Muhammad (peace be upon him).
