Fahmina Jawed (Aafiya) , the author of this blog is an Alimah and a lifetime student of deen who has studied Classical Islamic education under eminent teachers. Among the books she has studied are all the books of Alimiyyah courses which includes Riyadh as saliheen, Mishkat al Masabih, Bukhari sharif, Tirmidhi sharif, Muslim Sharif, Abu Dawud Sharif, Quran tafseer, Usul as Shashi, Balagha, Siraji/Islamic law of inheritence, Quduri and Al Hidaya- the manual of Islamic jurispendence.

She has 6 years experience of writing and has written more than 700 articles, and a couple of educative booklets.

She is a qualified Optometry Doctor and also runs another blog called- Opthametry.com
