#1 Dua before starting exam/ Dua for test : Read Rabbi Zidni Ilma 3 times

Then read ” Rabbi zidni ilma ” 3 times and start your exams with Bismillah. If you have time you can also read Darood sharif.

· ربِّ زِدْنِي عِلْماً.

Rabbi Zidni Ilma means “My Lord, increase me in knowledge.

#2 Dua for test -Read it before exams:

رَبِّ إنِّي مَغْلُوْبٌ فانْتَصِرْ

Transliteration: ‘Rabbi, ‘Inni ‘Magloobun, Fantasir’ 

Translation: “My lord, indeed I am overpowered, so help.

This is a very powerful dua for seeking the help of Allah.

اللهُمَّ لا سَهْلَ إلا مَا جَعَلتَهُ سَهْلا وَ أنتَ تَجْعَلُ الحزْنَ إذا شِئْتَ سَهْلا


Allahumma la sahla illa ma jaaltahu sahla, wa anta taj-alul hazna idha shita sahla.


O Allah! There is nothing easy except what You make easy, and You make the difficult easy if it be Your Will.

“Blessings of god be upon Muhammad and his progeny. O god, I ask you, the one who mentions goodness and actualizes it and commands it, remind me of that which the shaytan makes me forget.”

In most of the exams we get an idea about 30 or 40 percent of the questions which is coming in exams by trying to remember if our teacher had emphasised much on a particular topic or had said this is an important question. You may have had revision test before the exams, so try to focus on those question such that if those question come you could write them without a single mistake.

This strategy assures you that you shall pass. If you are not sure, you may ask few friends and list out the questions which you feel are important. You may also take the help of previous year question paper.

While waiting for results, you can read ayate karima- many times.It is the dua of yunus alaihi salan which brought him out of the belly of the fish so if you have given your best, read this dua many times and seek help from Allah. In sha Allah Allah will grant you success.

لَّآ إِلَٰهَ إِلَّآ أَنتَ سُبْحَٰنَكَ إِنِّى كُنتُ مِنَ ٱلظَّٰلِمِينَ

La ilaha illa anta subhanaka inni kuntu minaz zalimin.

Quranic Verses and ahadith for Exams

قَالَ رَبِّ ٱشْرَحْ لِى صَدْرِى

“O, my Lord! Open my chest for me

وَيَسِّرْ لِىٓ أَمْرِى

and make my task easy for me.

وَٱحْلُلْ عُقْدَةً مِّن لِّسَانِى

and make loose the knot from my tongue

يَفْقَهُوا۟ قَوْلِى

so that they understand my speech.”

[Al-Quran 20:25-28]
