Here is how to count a tasbih of 100 on fingers.

Abdullah ibn ‘Amr radi allahu anhu said: “I saw the Messenger of Allah sallalahu alaihe wa sallam counting the tasbīh.” Ibn Qudāmah (the narrator) said: “With his right hand.” (Abū Dāwūd)

The Messenger of Allah (pbuh) said: “Count on your fingers, for they will be asked, and will be made to speak.” (Tirmidhī)

Although it is Sunnah to use the hand for counting,one may use other means such as prayer beads or a
tasbīh counter.

What Tasbih to Read?

Tasbih of Takbir

اللَّهُ أَكْبَرُ

The prophet (SAW) said: whoever reads Allahuakbar 100 times in the morning and 100 times in the evening, on the Day of Judgment no one will be able to bring more good deeds than him, apart from the one who has read more.

Tasbih of Tamheed

Alhamdulillah

الْحَمْدُ لِلَّهِ

The Prophet (SAW) said: Whoever reads Alhamdulillah 100 times – it will be as though he has participated in 100 Jihads.(Jame Tirmizi)

Tasbih of Tahleel

Subhanallah

سُبْحَانَ اللَّهِ

The Prophet (SAW) said: Whoever reads Subhanallah 100 times in the morning and 100 times in the evening, will get the reward equal to that person who has performed 100 hajj.

Tasbih of Darud Sharif

Send blessings on the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him)

اللّهُـمَّ صَلِّ عَلـى مُحمَّـد، وَعَلـى آلِ مُحمَّد، كَمـا صَلَّيـتَ عَلـى إبْراهـيمَ وَعَلـى آلِ إبْراهـيم، إِنَّكَ حَمـيدٌ مَجـيد ، اللّهُـمَّ بارِكْ عَلـى مُحمَّـد، وَعَلـى آلِ مُحمَّـد، كَمـا بارِكْتَ عَلـى إبْراهـيمَ وَعَلـى آلِ إبْراهيم، إِنَّكَ حَمـيدٌ مَجـيد

Allāhumma ṣalli `alā Muḥammadinwa `alā ’āli Muḥammadin, kamā ṣallayta `alā ‘Ibrāhīma wa `alā ’āli ‘Ibrāhīma, ‘innaka ḥamīdum-majīd. Allāhumma bārik `alā Muḥammadin wa `alā ’āli Muḥammadin, kamā bārakta `alā ‘Ibrāhīma wa `alā ‘āli ‘Ibrāhīma, ‘innaka ḥamīdum-majīd.

O Allah, bestow Your favor on Muhammad and on the family of Muhammad as You have bestowed Your favor on Ibrahim and on the family of Ibrahim, You are Praiseworthy, Most Glorious. O Allah, bless Muhammad and the family of Muhammad as You have blessed Ibrahim and the family of Ibrahim, You are Praiseworthy, Most Glorious.
