The 2022 FIFA World Cup in Qatar is just a few days away, scheduled from November 20 to December 18.

This is the first tournament hosted in the Middle East hosted by a Muslim country.

Qatar introduces barcodes in hotels to Introduce Islam to the World.

The “barcode” takes the browser to a page belonging to the Qatari Ministry of Awqaf, and in the first interface there are options that include different languages, and when choosing the language, an introductory guide to Islam appears.

The “barcode” bears the logo of the Abdullah bin Zaid Al Mahmoud Islamic Cultural Center, affiliated to the Qatari Ministry of Awqaf and Islamic Affairs, which launched an initiative aimed at introducing the fans of the 2022 World Cup to Islam through religious materials translated into several languages

Qatar has also placed murals with prophetic Hadith in order to Introduce Islam to the World.

QR codes presented in Qatar hotels guest-rooms that introduce visitors to Islam and Qatari culture in all languages. Qatari accounts – including the local “Mersal Qatar” – published a picture showing the “barcode”
