The General Entertainment Authority (GEA) present the second edition of Otr Elkalam competition, which brings together all those with beautiful and touching voices in the Qur’an Recitation and the Athan from all over the world, in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, which aims to honor the most beautiful voices in Qur’an Recitation and Athan raising.

It is the first competition to combine Qur’an recitation and adhan and the largest contest of its kind in the world.

The competition consists of 4 stages, including the first stage, the second stage (quarter-finals), the third stage (semi-finals), and the final stage.

How Many Participants Are In The Qur’an And Athan Competition, “Perfume Of Speech”?

More than 40,000 participants from 80 countries applied to the competition, and 36 from multiple countries were shortlisted to qualify for the finalists.

The competition is divided into two categories, the Qur’an recitation category, and the Athan category, and  18 participants compete in each category.

The General Entertainment Authority (GEA)  launches the second edition of Otr Elkalam competition, after the great success achieved by the  competition in its first edition. The total prizes for the competition exceed 12 million SAR (more than 3.2 million dollars), and the prizes are divided into two tracks:

The track of the most beautiful Qur’an recitation, and the contestants compete for 10 places, and the total prizes in this track exceed 8 million SAR (more than 2.1 million dollars).

The  track of the most beautiful Athan, and the contestants compete for 10 places, and the total prizes in this track exceed 4 million SAR (more than 1.1 million dollars).

It also aims to support, empower, and celebrate creative and talented people.

The GEA encourages contestants from all over the world to participate, and last year more than 40,000 people from 80 countries applied to take part.
