30 Intentions of reading Quran in English

  • 1- With the intention of mentioning Allah, seeking His assistance, and drawing closer to Him by His words.
  • 2- As a means of communicating with Allah, increasing my faith and certainty in Him.
  • 3- As a remedy for the hardness of the heart, providing tranquility and dispelling doubts and anxiety.
  • 4- Because it is a cure for spiritual and physical ailments.
  • 5- Because Allah alleviates worries and dispels sadness through it.
  • 6- Because it is a means of attaining tranquility and being encompassed by mercy.
  • 7- To be a light for me in this world and a treasure for me in the Hereafter.
  • 8- To be my companion in the grave, an intercessor for me on the Day of Resurrection, and a source of light for me on the Bridge.
  • 9- So that I am not written among the heedless.
  • 10- For every letter, there is a reward, and a good deed is rewarded tenfold, and Allah multiplies it for whom He wills.
  • 11- Because it is better than the world and all that is in it.
  • 12- So that many doors of goodness may be opened for me.
  • 13- So that Allah loves me and I become one of His people.
  • 14- So that I do not return to the worst of ages.
  • 15- So that I become a means of mercy for my parents.
  • 16- So that I am protected from deviation and misguidance.
  • 17- So that I am saved from the trial of the grave and the punishment of the Fire.
  • 18- So that it becomes a means for entering Paradise.
  • 19- With the intention of seeking knowledge and acting upon it.
  • 20- With the intention of seeking guidance from Allah for myself and my family.
  • 21- Seeking the blessings of the Quran.
  • 22- Fulfilling the command of the Prophet, peace be upon him.
  • 23- I recite and learn the Quran so that I may be among the best of people.
  • 24- I memorize it because a person will ascend in Paradise according to his memorization of the Quran.
  • 25- So that I am protected from the trial of the Dajjal.
  • 26- So that it serves as an argument for me, not against me, on the Day of Resurrection.
  • 27- So that the earth and all that is around me and my limbs bear witness for me on the Day of Resurrection.
  • 28- So that I am prepared to answer the question about my life and how I spent it.
  • 29- So that Allah strengthens me in times of trials, as He says: โ€œThus do We give strength to your heart.โ€
  • 30-I love Quran

It is recommended to say the following after completing the recitation of the Quran:
