Recently a New cat is seen in Hagia Sophia who seems to have assumed her duties!

Adorable ! Isnโt it ?
Talking about Cats, Let us not forget Muezza. Do you know that the cat who was a favourite of Prophet Muhammad Sallalahu alaihe wa sallam was called Muezza. Muhammad Sallalahu alaihe wa sallam awoke one day to the sounds of theย adhan. Preparing to attend prayer, he began to dress himself; however, he soon discovered his cat Muezza sleeping on the sleeve of his prayer robe. Rather than wake her, he used a pair of scissors to cut the sleeve off, leaving the cat undisturbed. Another story is, upon returning from the mosque, Muhammad Sallalahu alaihe wa sallam received a bow from Muezza. He then smiled and gently stroked his beloved cat three times.
The cat is such a clean and pure animal that they are โone of those that go around amongst usโ.
