10,000 Riyals Fine On Entering Makkah Without Hajj Permit

Starting June 2nd until June 20th, if anyone breaks the rules during hajj in Saudi Arabia, they’ll be hit with a big fine of 10,000 Saudi Riyals. This rule applies to everyone, whether you’re a visitor, a citizen, or a resident. If you’re caught breaking the rules, you’ll have to pay up right away. And it’s not just about the money – if you’re caught, you could also get banned from coming back to Saudi Arabia and be sent back home right away. So it’s important to follow the rules during this time.

The rules and regulations of Hajj have been recently announce, primarily focusing on the safety of pilgrims. Since the laws are getting stricter, it ensures better security and safety measures for the pilgrims. The implications of rules are a serious matter thus offenders will face a double fine of 10,000 Saudi Riyals.

As per the Saudi Press Agency transporting, Individuals who lack the Hajj permit and are not complying with the regulations is a violation, These violations will not be taken lightly. Penalties for this include imprisonment for up to six months. Moreover, the guilty ones are fined up to 50,000 Saudi Riyals.

The judicial authorities can take action to confiscate the vehicles used for such transportation, moreover, the authorities can ban entry for those individuals from the country as well and financial penalties can be increased with each instance of violation.
