Dua for Father, Dua father in Islam quotes

Allah says in Quran, “And your Lord has commanded that you shall not serve (any) but Him, and goodness to your parents. If either or both of them reach old age with you, say not to them (so much as) “Ugh” nor chide them, and speak to them a generous word.”(Quran-17:23)

Honouring one’s parents is one of the greatest acts of worship. Parents are our biggest blessing. Here are some Dua for Father which we can make for his health and long life and after his death.

Since Parents are our biggest blessing, we should make dua for our parents daily and make dua for their long life.

 اللَّهُمَّ إِنِّي أَعُوذُ بِكَ مِنْ زَوَالِ نِعْمَتِكَ، وَتَحَوُّلِ عَافِيَتِكَ، وَفُجَأَةِ نِقْمَتِكَ، وَجَمِيعِ سَخَطِكَ‏.‏

Ad

‘O Allah, I seek refuge with You from the disappearance of Your blessing and from the loss of good health and Your sudden vengeance and all of Your anger.'”

Allah says, “And make yourself submissively gentle to them with compassion, and say: O my Lord! have compassion on them, as they brought me up (when I was) little.”(Quran 17:24)

Dua for father- Dua for forgiveness and acceptance of one’s father

رَبَّنَا اغۡفِرۡ لِىۡ وَلـِوَالِدَىَّ وَلِلۡمُؤۡمِنِيۡنَ يَوۡمَ يَقُوۡمُ الۡحِسَابُ 

Our Lord! Forgive me and my parents and the believers on the Day when the reckoning will take place.(Quran 14-41)

رَّبِّ ٱغْفِرْ لِى وَلِوَٰلِدَىَّ وَلِمَن دَخَلَ بَيْتِىَ مُؤْمِنًۭا وَلِلْمُؤْمِنِينَ وَٱلْمُؤْمِنَـٰتِ وَلَا تَزِدِ ٱلظَّـٰلِمِينَ إِلَّا تَبَارًۢا ٢٨

My Lord! Forgive me, my parents, and whoever enters my house in faith, and ˹all˺ believing men and women. And increase the wrongdoers only in destruction.”(Quran 71:28)

. اللهمَّ ارزق والدي الجنَّة بدون حسابٍ ولا عقابٍ واعفُ عنه واغفر له الذُّنوب جميعها

O Allah, grant my father Paradise without reckoning or punishment, and pardon him, and forgive all his sins.

Dua for Father’s Health and long life

(أَذْهِبِ البَاسَ رَبَّ النَّاسِ، اشْفِ وَأَنْتَ الشَّافِي، لاَ شِفَاءَ إِلَّا شِفَاؤُكَ، شِفَاءً لاَ يُغَادِرُ سَقَمًا)

“Remove the harm, Lord of men, and give healing. Thou art the Healer. There is no healing but Thine, a healing which leaves no illness behind.”

اللهمَّ ردَّ على أبي صحَّته وألبسه لباس العافية والصحَّة ولا تجعله يشكو ألما. ربِّ اغفر لأبي وأكرم نزله وهوِّن عليه سعيه في الحياة

اللهم اشفِ أبي من كلِّ آلام الدُّنيا وأوجاعها وكلِّ ذرَّة ألمٍ تسكن جسده. اللهمَّ إنَّ أبي لم يؤذِ أحدًا في حياته، وكان يسعى في مصالح البشر، أسألك أن تردَّ عليه صحَّته وتخفِّف وجعه. اللهمَّ أكرم أبي بكلِّ الخير والشِّفاء. يعزُّ عليَّ طلبي يا الله وهو عليك هيِّن، امنن على عبدك بالشِّفاء.

اللهمَّ إنَّك إن قلت للشيء كن فسيكون، أسألك أن تقضي بأمر شفاء أبي وردِّه لنا سالما معافى لا يشكو وجعا. يا كريم أكرم أبي بشفاء كلِّ آلامه وأمراضه ولا تجعله يشكو وجعًا. ربِّ اغفر لأبي كلَّ ما يحول بينه وبين شفاء آلامه، اللهم اجعل هذا الألم كفَّارةً لأبي.

 اللَّهُمَّ إِنِّي أَسْأَلُكَ الصِّحَّةَ، وَالْعِفَّةَ، وَالأَمَانَةَ، وَحُسْنَ الْخُلُقِ، وَالرِّضَا بِالْقَدَرِ‏.‏

“Oh Allah, I ask You for health, restraint, trustworthiness, good character, and contentment with the decree.”(Adab al mufrad 307)

Dua for father who passed away

اللهمَّ اغفر لأبي وصبِّر قلبي على فقدانه. اللهمَّ ارزق أبي أعلى درجات الجنَّة. اللهمَّ اجعل قبر أبي روضةً من رياض الجنَّة ولا تجعله حفرةً من حفر النَّار. اللهمَّ صبِّر قلوبنا على فقدان أبي وارحمه. اللهمَّ جازي أبي عنَّا خير الجزاء والإحسان. اللهمَّ أكرم نزل أبي واجعله من عبادك الصَّالحين. اللهمَّ أظلَّ أبي تحت ظلَّ عرشك يوم لا ظلَّ إلَّا ظلُّك . اللهمَّ اجعل لقاءنا في جناتك ولا تفرِّقنا بعد أن تجمعنا أبدًا. اللهمَّ جازه خير الجزاء عن كلِّ ما قدمه لنا.
