Eid Mubarak !!

Eid Mubarak to all our readers. May Allah accept all our acts of worship, fasting and prayers, free us from the trials of the COVID-19 pandemic and oppression on Muslim around the World.

This year Eid may not be the same for many of us. Many People may have lost their loved ones but remember celebration of Eid is an ibadah. We Celebrate Eid because we are grateful and because Allah commands us to celebrate Eid. We are pleased with our Rabb and we know that those who have left us will reunite with us one day and we shall live in Jannah forever.

Allah says in Quran,

شَهْرُ رَمَضَانَ ٱلَّذِىٓ أُنزِلَ فِيهِ ٱلْقُرْءَانُ هُدًى لِّلنَّاسِ وَبَيِّنَـٰتٍ مِّنَ ٱلْهُدَىٰ وَٱلْفُرْقَانِ ۚ فَمَن شَهِدَ مِنكُمُ ٱلشَّهْرَ فَلْيَصُمْهُ ۖ وَمَن كَانَ مَرِيضًا أَوْ عَلَىٰ سَفَرٍ فَعِدَّةٌ مِّنْ أَيَّامٍ أُخَرَ ۗ يُرِيدُ ٱللَّهُ بِكُمُ ٱلْيُسْرَ وَلَا يُرِيدُ بِكُمُ ٱلْعُسْرَ وَلِتُكْمِلُوا۟ ٱلْعِدَّةَ وَلِتُكَبِّرُوا۟ ٱللَّهَ عَلَىٰ مَا هَدَىٰكُمْ وَلَعَلَّكُمْ تَشْكُرُونَ

It was in the month of Ramadan that the Quran was revealed as guidance for mankind, clear messages giving guidance and distinguishing between right and wrong. So any one of you who is present that month should fast, and anyone who is ill or on a journey should make up for the lost days by fasting on other days later. God wants ease for you, not hardship. He wants you to complete the prescribed period and to glorify Him for having guided you, so that you may be thankful.(2:185)

And of course wearing our best clothes on Eid is a Sunnah but Eid is a celeberation of the month of Taqwa and tahara that we just spent and it is a means of our obedience and being pleased at the pleasure of our Rabb..

May Allah make us all keep asking for forgiveness and lead our hearts to the sunnah. O Allah, do not let any of our sins not forgiven, and no burden unrelieved, and no debt unpaid, and not difficulty in this life or the Akhirah without support. O Allah, Make us recite Qur’an day and night like we used to do in Ramadan , O Allah make us keep abstaining from futile things the way we used to do in Ramadan. O Allah aid Gaza, help the Palestinian and Protect Masjid Al Aqsa. Ya Allah give sabr to the families who have lost their loved ones and shower your mercy upon the ummah. Ameen.
