A Unique Digital Tasbih: Tracks your Daily-monthly and Yearly Dhikr: Make Every Click Count for Your Ākhirah

We live in a time where almost everyone — adults and children alike — is constantly tapping on their phones. Social media, games, and endless scrolling have become part of our daily lives, and many of us find ourselves addicted to the screen.

But what if every tap could become something meaningful? What if instead of empty swipes and clicks, each touch on the screen filled our scales of good deeds?

That is exactly the vision behind this Digital Tasbīḥ.

  • For children, who are already drawn to tapping and clicking, this Tasbīḥ transforms that habit into a spiritual game— every tap is a dhikr, every click a reward in the Ākhirah.
  • For adults, it becomes a gentle reminder that the phone in our hands can either distract us from Allah or bring us closer to Him.

In this day and age, where distraction is everywhere, the Tasbīḥ helps us channel our time and energy into remembrance of Allah — simple words that are easy on the tongue but heavy on the scales.

How to Use the Digital Tasbīḥ

  1. Register and Create Your Account
Your dhikr log is tied to your account, so every tasbīḥ you do is saved securely.
  2. Choose Your Target
Set a target for a particular dhikr (e.g., 100 “Subḥānallāh” daily) and work towards completing it.
  3. Track Your Progress
View your daily, monthly, and yearly reports. If you notice your dhikr was less than the previous day, you can motivate yourself to increase it the next day.
  4. Healthy Competition
You can compare your dhikr log with your friends, classmates, or family members. This creates a healthy competition in goodness — racing towards the pleasure of Allah.Allah says in the Qur’an:
    ﴿فَاسْتَبِقُوا الْخَيْرَاتِ﴾
“So race to [all that is] good.” (Qur’an 2:148)And the Prophet ﷺ said:
“The strong believer is better and more beloved to Allah than the weak believer, while there is good in both. Strive for that which will benefit you, seek the help of Allah, and do not lose heart.” (Muslim)
  5. Build Consistency
By logging in daily, setting goals, and reviewing your reports, you slowly build a consistent habit of dhikr that grows with you and your family.

An Islamic productive Tool for Families

This digital tasbīḥ is not just for adults—it can also be a wonderful way to nurture the habit of dhikr in children. Parents can create individual profiles for each of their kids and encourage them to recite the daily tasbīḥ.

Every time a child does dhikr, their points are saved, and parents can keep track of each child’s progress. At the end of the week or month, parents may compare the children’s points, and the one with the highest tasbīḥ count can be rewarded with a small gift or a special treat.

This way, the tasbīḥ becomes like a fun game for children—they compete in goodness, earn rewards from their parents, and most importantly, they are filling their scales of good deeds for the Ākhirah.
