Introducing the Qadha Salah Tracker: A Gentle Way to Complete Your Missed Prayers
There are moments in a believer’s life when salah is missed — sometimes due to ignorance, sometimes weakness, sometimes circumstances beyond our control. What remains constant, however, is Allah’s door of mercy. Repentance is always open, and with it comes the opportunity to make amends through qadha salah.
Understanding how many prayers are due and how to complete them can feel overwhelming. Many people delay starting simply because they don’t know where to begin. To ease this journey, I have made this new feature designed with clarity, compassion, and consistency in mind: the Qadha Salah Tracker.
What is special about this Salah tracker?
I have added calendar for 50 years after 2026 and 50 years back. Suppose I became baligh at age 11 and I didn’t get tawfeeq to read all salah until I was 13 or so. or May be at 14, I was not praying my Fajr and Juhr salah. So I can move back to a particular year and mark the Qadha salah.

What Is Qadha Salah?
Qadha salah refers to the obligatory prayers that were missed and must be made up later. Any fard salah that was not prayed within its prescribed time — whether intentionally or unintentionally
The Prophet ﷺ said:
“Whoever forgets a prayer or sleeps through it, let him pray it when he remembers it. There is no expiation for it except that.” (Sahih Muslim)
Scholars explain that missed prayers should be completed as soon as reasonably possible, according to one’s capacity. Just as debts to people weigh on the heart, unpaid salah weighs on the soul — and completing qadha salah brings immense relief and closeness to Allah.
Why Praying Qadha Salah Is Important
Salah is the first deed we will be questioned about on the Day of Judgment. It is the foundation of our relationship with Allah and the pillar that holds the rest of our deeds upright.
Praying qadha salah:
- Fulfills an obligation that remains binding until completed
- Is a sign of sincere repentance and return to Allah
- Brings peace to the heart and discipline to daily worship
- Strengthens consistency in current and future prayers
Allah is Most Merciful. He does not close the door on those who return to Him with sincerity — even after years.
How to Use the Qadha Salah Tracker
Making up missed salah can feel overwhelming when we don’t know where to begin. This Qadha Tracker is designed to make the journey gentle, organized, and hopeful—one prayer at a time.
Step 1: Set Your Total Qadha Salah
At the top of the tracker, you’ll see an option that says:
“I have ___ qadha salah”
- Enter the total number of qadha salah you wish to complete.
- This can be an estimate. Perfection is not required—intention and consistency matter more.
- Click Save once you’ve entered the number.
You’ll immediately see:
- How many are completed
- How many are remaining
- Your progress percentage
This gives you a clear picture of your journey without pressure.
Step 2: Use the Calendar to Mark Your Prayers
Below, you’ll find a monthly calendar view.
- Each day is divided into the five daily prayers:
Fajr, Dhuhr, Asr, Maghrib, and Isha - Whenever you pray a qadha salah, simply mark it for that day and prayer.
- You can mark one, two, or all five—whatever you manage that day.
Every small step counts. Even one marked prayer is progress.
Step 3: Move Back in Time—Up to 50 Years
Using the arrow buttons, you can:
- Go back month by month
- Access dates up to 50 years in the past
There is no “right” date—only sincere effort.
Step 4: Watch Your Progress Grow
As you continue marking prayers:
- The progress bar fills up
- The completed count increases
- The remaining number decreases
This visual reminder brings motivation and hope—your effort is visible, recorded, and meaningful.
A Gentle Reminder
Qadha salah is not about guilt. It is about returning, repairing, and reconnecting with Allah—step by step.
Use this tracker daily or occasionally, at your own pace. Consistency, even if small, is beloved to Allah.
May this tracker make your journey of qadha salah lighter, clearer, and full of barakah.
