The signet ring of Prophet Muhammad(رَسُولِ اللهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم‏)

Anas ibn Malik (ra) said:
“The signet ring of the Prophet (Allah bless him and give him peace) consisted of silver, and its stone was Abyssinian.”

From other narrations what we know about the signet ring is that the inscription engraved [in Arabic script] on the signet ring of Allah’s Messenger (Allah bless him and give him peace) was: Muhammadun forming one line, Rasulu forming one line, and Allahi forming one line.

When Allah’s Messenger (Allah bless him and give him peace) wished to write to the non-Arabs, he was told: ‘The non-Arabs will not accept a letter unless it bears a seal.’ He therefore created a signet,he used to seal [letters] with it, and he would not wear it.

After him, it was in the possession of Abu Bakr (ra) and then in the possession of ‘Umar (ra). Then it was in the possession of ‘Uthman (ra) , until it fell into the well of Aris. (Allahu alam)

Day 08

Day 09

Abu Huraira (ra) said:”I have not seen anything more beautiful than Allah’s Messenger (Allah bless him and give him peace). The sun seemed to shine in his face. Nor have I seen anyone more rapid in his gait than Allah’s Messenger (Allah bless him and give him peace). The earth seemed to be folded up for him. We found it difficult to keep up the pace when we walked with him, yet he walked at his normal pace.”
Despite his fast pace he walked in a manner that maintained his respect and status.
He didn’t drag his feet on the ground or walk in an arrogant manner.
