Edit :2 April 2020: Coronavirus curfew in Mecca, Medina: Residents may only leave their homes when necessary to buy food or for medical care, according to the Ministry of Interior.

Wednesday 1st April 2020: As of this yesterday (Tuesday, 31 March) the Mataaf has been opened. Groups of 50 will be allowed to make 1 complete tawaf.

Umrah was stopped on 21st March 2020 when the government of Saudi Arabia announced to take extra precautionary measures to curb the spread of COVID-19.
So far Saudi Arabia has confirmed 1720, with 16 deaths and 264 recoveries
