Dua is the Essense of Worship. There is a hadeeth –“Verily your Lord is Generous and Shy. If His servant raises his hands to Him (in supplication) He becomes shy to return them empty (Ahmad, Abu Dawood, Tirmidhi)”. The prophet once said, “Dua is Ibadah” (Tirmidhi, Ibn Majah, and Abu Dawud). Since it is a type of worship, it is something that we must always do. This is even to the extent that the Prophet said, “Allah is extremely displeased with the person who doesn’t do duaa to Allah” (Tirmidhi).

Do You Know that Dua is of two types ? They are :

Type I: Du’a al-mas’alah, or the ‘du’a of asking.’ This type of du’a is when one asks for the fulfillment of a need, or that some harm be removed from him/her. An example would be when a person asks, “O God! Grant me good in this world, and good in the next life!”

Type II: Du’a al-‘ibadah’, or the ‘du’a of worship.’ This type of du’a represents a very broad concept. In Islam, every single act of worship includes this type of du’a. Examples would include When we pray-Salah ,or gives zakāt or fast.

Today , I would like to present to you the 30 Dua from Quran  that is Dua al Masalah. Make Abundant Dua in Ramadan and keep us in your prayer . Jazak Allahu Khairan.

The Dua can be read in any sequence. All these are dua from Quran seeking different help from Allah swt .
