TAJBank,a leading non-interest bank in Nigeria Wins Islamic Bank of the Year Award, Three Times in a Row

Islamic Bank of the Year Award 2023

 TAJBank Limited, a leading non-interest bank in Nigeria, has been honored with the prestigious BusinessDay “Islamic Bank of the Year Award” for the third consecutive year. This commendation was announced by the Managing Director of TAJBank, Hamid Joda.

The award was presented to the bank’s management at the Banking and Financial Institutions (BAFI) awards ceremony in Lagos. Michael Iteye, the Regional Head of TAJBank in Lagos, received the award on behalf of the bank’s management.

The award was presented by Tosin Sanni, GM Emerging Africa, and Frank Aigbogun, Publisher BusinessDay to TAJBank Limited, Nigeria’s fastest-growing and most customer-friendly non-interest lender during the newspaper’s Banking and Financial Institutions (BAFI) awards ceremony held in Lagos.

Presenting the award to the bank’s management, represented by the Regional Head, Lagos, Mr Michael Iteye, during the newspaper’s Banking and Financial Institutions (BAFI) awards ceremony held in Lagos, BusinessDay’s representative at the awards ceremony, said the award was conferred on TAJBank in recognition of “its commitment to world-class services, impressive financial performance and consistently being at the forefront in the nation’s financial inclusion drive over the last three years.”

Speaking on the highly competitive award by the newspaper, the bank’s founder/managing director, Mr Hamid Joda, said: “As the saying goes, hard work pays.
